About Evolence |

Evolence™ is composed
of a highly purified cross-linked porcine collagen guaranteed
to hold its shape and last for at least 12 months.
The filler is produced via revolutionary
Glymatrix™ technology, which involves a unique
and natural sugar based cross-linking process. This
sophisticated production process also removes the antigenic
part of the collagen molecule to produce a treatment
that is highly compatible with human collagen thus removing
allergenic concerns.
Pre-testing is not a pre-requisite
to treatment with Evolence. However, clients with a
history of hypersensitivity and known allergy to collagen
may not be treated.

Evolence restores a natural, youthful appearance by
replenishing the lost collagen, adding volume
and smoothing wrinkles and folds.
One of the main areas
of use is correction of nasolabial (nose to mouth)
folds.
Evolence is injected just
below the skin surface following the application
of local anaesthetic cream to minimise discomfort.
The treatment does not
take long and daily activities may be resumed
immediately.

Side Effects After Treatment |

During the first few days
after treatment, exposure to extremes of temperature
or strong sunlight should be avoided to reduce the risk
of inflammation.
Side effects are injection-related
such as swelling, redness, pain, itching and tenderness,
which usually resolve after a few days.
